Motorcoach Travel Tips
. . .

If you want to travel anywhere in North America with great ease and comfort, take a tip from more than 774 million travelers a year:

Whether you know your destination or merely have a desire to tour - Samson Trailways can handle all the details. Call today to speak with one of our tour planners or visit us online at www.samsontrailways.com to request a quote.

What You Will Need:

When working out the details of your trip with a company's charter/tour department, be prepared to provide the company with details on the date(s), destination(s), your required itinerary, and the approximate number of people in the group.
Be sure to specify if your group has any special needs, i.e., a video system, beverage galley, handicap accessibility, or any additional amenities.
If you would like help planning your itinerary, let the tour department know the types of activities your group is interested in and what your time frame is for the overall trip. Ask the operator for recommendations on lodging, restaurants, destinations, and tourist attractions along the way. Remember that motorcoach and tour company professionals deal with these companies daily. As "preferred customers," they can often negotiate favorable group rates.
Always inquire about additional trip costs. Short trips may not require the "extras," while long or quick-turn-around trips may require an extra driver to adhere to federal safety requirements and avoid potentially unsafe driving conditions. Other costs may include a driver's room when applicable, additional mileage incurred by side-trips not specified in the original itinerary, parking fees, tolls, admission to tourist attractions, etc.

Decide weather your group will require extra trip insurance to cover lost, stolen, destroyed items or to cover extra medical expense, cancellation, or trip interruption while on your trip. Trip insurance is available for your group upon request.

BE A SMART SHOPPER * Remember, a decision based solely on price may not be the best value, so make sure careful consideration of these consumer tips is balanced against cost.
