Legal Operation of any motorcoach company requires federal operating authority if they will be crossing state or provincial lines, and they should be able to offer you proof of that authority, which is issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation or Transport Canada. This ensures they meet insurance requirements.

Equipment is a key consideration when planning a trip. Newer equipment, (not more than 10 years old) generally means fewer problems. Make sure the company performs routine service and maintenance checks to avoid unwanted delays while on the road.

All U.S. drivers are required to have a valid, current Driver Standards/Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a "passenger" endorsement. |

All of our drivers undergo pre-employment screening and once hired they are required to keep a current DOT driver's file, commercial driver's license, DOT physical examination, and an approved Medical Examiner's Card.
Ask for proof of a valid, current insurance certificate that provides a minimum, in the United States, of $5 million in liability coverage insurance. |
